Our Issue 124 Designer For The Day

Card making Card Making

It’s safe to say that PaperCrafter reader Terri Koszler knows how to brighten your day. This issue’s Designer for the Day card is bursting with every colour of the rainbow. The vibrant inked background is perfect for cheering up a loved one and even makes a beautiful keepsake.

Our Issue 124 Designer For The Day

YOU WILL NEED: Craft essentials, Distress ink pads, Alphabet dies, Alphabet stamps

METHOD:
1 Take 9.5cm x 14cm of white card and create a rainbow background with distress inks. Start at the top with red ink, gradually blending to yellow, green, turquoise, blue and finally, violet. Use a blending tool to merge the colours together.

2 Spritz the card with a little water to create a splashed effect in some areas. Once dry mount the background onto a 10.5cm x 15cm white blank.

3 Die cut ‘Colour’ from black card, then fix in the centre with 3D foam pads. Stamp ‘You’ above the die-cut letters with black ink, then ‘My world’ below.
