METHOD
Create a white 13cm x 18cm card blank. Die cut a 12cm x 17cm panel of red and white polka dot paper and adhere to the card, leaving a thin white border.
Die cut a 12cm x 14cm rectangle from smooth white card and stamp an apron image in the centre with red ink.
Stamp pockets and the apron’s ribbon onto the reverse of a scrap of red polka dot paper and cut out. Paper piece them together onto the main image.
Cut another rectangle, 9.5cm x 13cm, from white card. Stamp the apron image on the reverse in the centre. Cut out the image and add a sheet of acetate large enough to cover the cut-out shape.
Turn the panel over and draw faux stitches around the apron shape with a black fine liner. Add 3D foam pads to the reverse and carefully line up the shape over the red stamped apron, then adhere.
Print a sentiment and cake image, then colour them in with alcohol markers. Embellish with red pearls to finish.
