Card making Christmas cards Christmas crafts Papercraft Papercrafter
Bring your Christmas cards to life with Colette Smith’s juggling snowman greeting – you’ll master spinning cards in no time!
YOU WILL NEED:
Templates or SVG files
Die, 9cm circle
Ink pad, black
Cardstock, various colours
Mini brad
Circle punch, small
Acetate
Glue
Digital cutting machine (optional)
METHOD:
1. Download and print the snowman template from our website onto thin card and cut out
2. Draw around the head and body onto white card, the arms onto brown card, the nose onto orange, then the bow on pink
3. Carefully cut out the snowman arms, his bow and nose with scissors
4. Assemble the snowman. Stick the arms to the back, add the bow to the neckline and the nose pointing upwards
5. Cut a 9cm acetate circle and punch a small hole in the centre. Create six 1.5cm white circles and stick around the edge
6. Cover a top-folding 10.5cm x 15cm blank with a slightly smaller panel of aqua card
7. From the top of the blank, punch a small hole 5.5cm down. Place the acetate on top, push a brad all the way through and secure
8. Add details to the face in black. Punch two small pink circles for cheeks and three larger black circles for buttons
9. Adhere the snowman to the blank. Cut a wavy edge from white card, stamp a sentiment onto it and stick to the greeting
“If you haven’t got a 9cm circle die, use a compass to mark the circle onto acetate and carefully cut out”
