YOU WILL NEED:
Templates
Cardstock, various colours
Punch, hole
Sharp scissors or craft knife

METHOD:
1 Choose a garland template. Cut and concertina fold a length of paper accordingly: bat – 7cm wide strip folded at 6.5cm intervals; spider – 7cm wide strip folded at 5cm intervals; pumpkin – 5cm wide strip folded at 3cm intervals; ghost – 10cm wide strip folded at 5cm intervals.

2 Trace the design onto the top of the concertina stack and use sharp scissors or a craft knife to cut the shape through all the layers. Use a hole punch to add eyes and a mouth to the ghost or just eyes to the spider and pumpkin. Create a nose and mouth for the pumpkin by snipping into the fold.

TOP TIP
Extend your garland by glueing sections together and experiment with patterned papers, as we’ve done with the pumpkins
