Use our butterfly papers to make a pretty artwork
• Punch a scalloped border along the base of the front face of a 10.5cm x 15cm white tentfold blank. Cut green script paper to 9.5cm x 12.5cm and matt onto turquoise card, leaving a narrow border around the edge. Place a 1cm floral strip just in from the right side.
• Layer a 2.5cm x 13cm piece of green and white patterned paper onto aqua card. Add a 1.5cm x 13cm section of green fauna patterned paper to the left of the floral paper. Arrange two strips of washi tape to the side and attach to the front of the project.
• Die cut a 6cm green and white circle and fix onto a slightly larger turquoise circle. Using 3D foam pads, attach to the top right of the design. Cut out the large blue butterfly from the patterned paper and attach in the centre of the circles. Shape the wings.
• Stick a die-cut greeting at the base of the circle and cluster a trio of roses in the bottom right corner. Add a strip of pearls along the green patterned strip and frame the butterfly with pale blue gems. Complete by dusting the roses with iridescent glitter.
• Cover the central area of the background of a 32cm square box frame with green card. Layer and stick smaller panels of yellow, brown and cream card on top.
• Print two sheets of butterfly patterned papers from the Papercrafter website. Cut out several of the smaller varieties in a range of colours and patterns from one sheet. Arrange across the central panel, glueing flat to the card.
• Cut the same insects from the second sheet. Stick above each of the butterflies, shaping the wings before sticking in place. Finish your project by placing the display inside the frame.
