Tattered Lace Christmas Digi Stamp Cards

Try a simple approach
If you’re a beginner digi stamper, make our teddy bear card first. You can simply print the design as it is, then shade in a few sections with a red pen. Anchor the motif on a white blank with a strip of red cardstock and sentiment sticker. Ta-da! Continue in this way for an easy method that still produces striking results.

Take it a step further
Savvy on a computer? Colette’s other cards involve pairing various digi stamps together. The easiest way to do this is to take a screenshot or use your computer’s ‘Snipping tool’ and arrange them on a programme of your choosing such as Microsoft Paint or Word. This is a great way to create seamless cards – plus, you can also add depth by resizing various elements such as the poinsettias.

Master repeat patterns
Take it even further with patterned backgrounds. On our Christmas pudding card, you can see how the motif has been replicated and rotated in different directions to fill a square space. You can do this on programmes like Adobe Photoshop. Once you’re happy with the arrangement, print it out and colour in to your heart’s content, before fixing a sentiment on top with 3D foam pads.
