Check in with a neighbour, say hello to a mate and send love to a relative with Colette Smith’s Be Kind digi stamps. One small act of kindness sparks a heartwarming domino effect so show them you care by spreading some positivity – rainbows, hearts, smileys and florals should do the trick. Amongst these mushy motifs, you’ll also find ten cheerful sentiments to leave your nearest and dearest feeling over the moon… or rainbow! Want the full instructions? Click here!

Print tricks
For blur-free results, we recommend printing your digi stamps using the best setting on your home printer. This will ensure the motifs and sentiments come out looking clean and crisp. When using certain mediums to colour them in, sometimes the printer ink can bleed. To avoid this, go around and up to any detail lines with your pen rather than colouring over them. You can also use a heat tool to set the printer ink before you start.

Pigment play
Put simply, colour brings us happiness and there are so many ways to add it to your projects. Alcohol markers are ideal for filling in your digi stamps, but why not skip this step and focus on the backgrounds? Yep, we said it! You might think we’ve gone mad, but take a look at Colette’s ‘Show kindness’ card. She’s created an ink blended background and has left the motif blank – it’s a genius way to make your digi stamps pop!

All that glitters
For subtle shimmer and texture, consider adding a little glitz to your digi stamps. Once you’ve coloured them in, go over your design with glitter highlights as demonstrated on our ‘How’ve ya bean?’ greeting – we’ve used Spectrum Noir’s Crystal Clear Sparkle Shimmer pen (crafterscompanion.co.uk). You could also finish off your cards with a quick spritz of shimmer craft spray. Just ensure both mediums are clear so that the colour beneath remains visible.
