Stamped Character Card

Card making How to Papercraft Papercrafter Stamping Techniques Card Making

Kitty Day’s card oozes positivity and we love the message it gives. The background is created using distress inks whilst the individual images are coloured in with Copic markers to give a bright, summery feel.

Stamped Character Card

YOU WILL NEED:
Stamps, Waffle Flower Happy Day
Cardstock: blue, white
Ink pads, Ranger Distress Salty Ocean, Mowed Lawn
Copic markers
Stencil brush
Fineliner, black
Adhesives

METHOD:
1. Cut and fold white card to form a tent-folding blank, 13cm square. Trim white stamping card, 12.5cm square. Apply green distress ink to the bottom and blue to the top, blending together with a stencil brush.

2. Draw a border around the panel with a black fineliner and mount onto blue card. Stamp and colour the images with Copic markers. Carefully cut out each of them and attach in place with 3D foam pads.

3. Stamp the sentiment onto white strips of card, then fix to the top and bottom of the greeting with 3D foam pads. Add glitter to the butterfly wings to finish.
