Perk up a pal with this delightful snail card that reminds its recipient to practise some self-care. A perfect just because card to send at any time, this design from Sarah Jackman Read uses the wonderful Jen Hadfield Reaching Out collection by American Crafts

Self-Care Snail Card

You will need:
Patterned papers, American Crafts Jen Hadfield Reaching Out 12” x 12”
Punch, 5mm corner
Embellishments: mini bows, pearls
Adhesives

1. Cover a 10cm x 17cm top-folding white blank with heart paper. Trim gingham paper to 8.5cm x 15cm, then round off the corners. Secure a sentiment to the reverse of the top-right corner, then adhere to the card front.

2. Run striped paper, 3.5cm x 15.5cm, down the centre. Cut two hearts from foliage patterned paper and stick to the top and bottom of the strip with 3D foam pads. Trim floral paper to 6cm square and a square sentiment slightly smaller.

3. Round off the corners of both pieces, layer up, then attach to the centre of the greeting with 3D foam pads. Add a mini bow below the sentiment and embellish with pearls to complete.
