Card making How to Papercraft Papercrafter Techniques Projects

Fancy an on-trend hand-lettered look? Whether you practice your own lettering, trace over a template or draw the letters and colour in, there’s an achievable style for you! Keren Baker combines them all in this pretty floral design which can be made as either a postcard or regular greeting

Hand Lettering Card

You will need
Stencil, Altenew Meadow Bush
Ink pads: Ranger Distress Oxide Evergreen Bough, Carved Pumpkin, Spun Sugar, Worn Lipstick, Abandoned Coral
Pen, Tombow Fudenosuke
Brush pen, Sakura Koi black
Cardstock, white

1. Practise writing ‘You Are Loved’ onto a piece of scrap paper then trace onto the centre of an 11cm x 14.5cm panel using the Koi pen. Allow the ink to dry completely. Using some sticky notes, cut a larger shape than the sentiment to act as a mask.

2. Create the flowers around the outside with inks and stencils. Add some little lines next to the lettering to accentuate the letters. If any pencil marks are obvious, rub them out carefully.
