This month’s Designer for the Day is Sabera Lee and we’re loving her simple yet stunning z-fold card.

Our Issue 106 Designer for the Day

YOU WILL NEED:
Craft essentials (see p94)
Sizzix dies: Fly Away Home Thinlits, Sizzlits Oval Interlocking decorative strip
Dies: scallop-edged border, zig-zag

Apply to be our next Designer for the Day by sending an email with your name and address to elena.thompson@aceville.co.uk

METHOD
1. Use the Fly Away Home Sizzix die to create a z-fold, decorative-edged card measuring 16cm x 29cm (at the tallest point). Cover the front and back panels with orange patterned paper.
2. Die cut a scallop-edged trim from white paper, zig-zags from brown paper and interlocking ovals from orange paper. Stick onto the patterned panels. Add a ‘Thank you’ sentiment to the front.
3. Create two birds and six floral motifs from green and orange card. Position by overlapping the edge of the card.
Tip: Die cut a spare base card and use it as a template for trimming patterned paper panels to size
