Birthday crafting Card making Die cutting How to Papercraft Papercrafter Stamping Techniques Projects

A stepper card that is positively dripping in summer? We know a must-craft when we see one. Check the instructions below for instructions on how to make this bright beauty.

Summery stepper card

YOU WILL NEED:
Patterned papers, Pebbles Sun & Fun 12” x 12”
Stamps, Pebbles Sun & Fun
Embellishments: Pebbles Sun & Fun Shaker Stickers, Vinyl Stickers, Phrase Ephemera, Icon Ephemera, Puffy Dots, Washi Tape
Dies: stitched rectangles
Acetate
Marker pens
Die-cutting machine

METHOD:
1. Create a 14.5cm square top-folding white blank. Trim white card to 13cm x 14.5cm, then score in at 6cm and 12cm. Attach the flap to the front of the greeting, then mountain fold to create a stepper card.

2. Cover the forward-facing panels with blue paper. Matt flip flop paper onto the larger panel. Cut striped paper to 6cm x 14.5cm and adhere down the centre of the card front. Die cut a rectangular frame from blue paper and secure cloud paper behind it with 3D foam pads. Add a ‘For you’ sentiment and a fish sticker in the top-left, then fix to the greeting.

3. Stamp, colour and cut out a boy motif, then attach it to the frame with 3D foam pads. Run a strip of floral paper, 5.5cm x 14cm, across the front panel, then fix a die-cut bear motif above it on the left-hand side.

4. Attach a sentiment to a strip of acetate and secure one end behind the bear. Pop a shaker sticker in the bottom-right corner of the front panel to complete.
