Our Issue 98 Designer for the Day

YOU WILL NEED:
Craft essentials (see p92)
Belle & Boo II Collection: 12” x 12” Paper Pad, Decoupage Pad, Ice Cream Stamp Set
Ink: brown, yellow

Apply to be our next Designer for the Day by sending an email with your name and address to jessica.elkin@aceville.co.uk

METHOD:
1. Take a 21cm x 28cm piece of white card and score horizontally through the centre, then score at 3cm and 5cm from the top and bottom.
2. Cut from one 3cm line to the other along both lengths, leaving a 4cm border on each side. Mountain-fold the 3cm score lines and the central line, then valley-fold both 5cm lines.
3. Trim stripey paper from the Belle & Boo II paper pack and glue to the front panels of your greeting. Spread yellow ink around the edges of the central panel and adhere an 8cm x 11.5cm piece of silver mirrored card on top.
4. Layer the motifs from the decoupage pad in the centre with 3D foam pads and round the corners of the card with a punch.
5. Using brown ink, stamp the ice cream, shells, starfish and sandcastle onto spotted paper, then cut out and stick to the greeting. Embellish with paper flowers, a bow and a sentiment.
