1. Take a 16.5cm x 28.5cm piece of white card and score vertically at 6.5cm, 13cm, 19.5cm and 26cm intervals.
2. Use a bone folder to crease horizontally from the 6.5cm line to the opposite end of the card at a height of 10cm. The remaining 2.5cm will become a tab to hold the card together. Cut at an angle and trim the excess.
3. Cut each scored line to the 10cm section, leaving one side measuring 16.5cm tall. Use double-sided tape to adhere the tab and create the box shape.
4. Take two 2cm x 10.5cm strips of white card, score at 2cm from each end and stick inside the box to form slats.
5. Add a piece of paper from the By The Sea collection to each visible panel using double-sided tape. Die cut a seahorse, shells and seaweed from textured card and add different colours to the reverse.
6. Stick die-cut elements to the panels inside the box and side flaps. Die cut a ‘Happy Birthday’ sentiment from grey card and matt onto a panel of blue, then brown card. Glue to the front flap and embellish with pearls.
