Download the star template and attach to a piece of card using tape.
With a craft knife, cut the white areas, taking extra care with the smaller intricate areas. Repeat steps one and two so that you end up with two identical decorations.
Next, cut a slit in each decoration. On the first decoration, snip from the top down to the centre and on the second, cut from the bottom up to the centre.
Slot one decoration in the other at a 90˚ angle so that they are locked together.
Pierce a small hole in the top of your decoration with a needle or a pair of scissors.
Thread a length of thread through the hole and tie securely.
