Learn how to make this floral complimentary card made by SathyaKala below.

Issue 138 Designer for the Day

You will need:
Craft essentials
Canson watercolour card 300gsm
Stamps: Altenew’s Bod Blossom, Antique Linen
Zig Clean Colour brush pens: Geranium Red, Carmine Red, Wine Red
Gansai Tambi 36 Watercolour pans no 43, no 64
Circle chipboard
Ranger Embossing Powder, White
White, Black acrylic paints
Clear dew droplets
4"x6” white card base

Method:
1.Stamp the roses with few leaves Altenew’s Bold Blossom onto a watercolour cardstock using Antique Linen distress ink to achieve a no-line colouring.
2.Use the shades of Red from Zig Clean Colour brush pens to colour the florals.
3.Fussy cut the florals and leaves.
4.Take watercolour cardstock, prepare the panel for a hazy watercolour background look by misting it with water and dropping colours from Gansai Tambi watercolour pan, making sure to dry in between switching.
5.Splattered watered down back acrylic paint diagonally over the panel.
6.Trim the watercolour panel an inch lesser to fit 4"x6” card base.
7.Adhere a circle chipboard using liquid glue and onto which arrange the fussy cut florals in a eye-pleasing way using double sided adhesive tapes.
8.Generously splatter watered down white acrylic paint over the panel, to achieve misty look.
9.White heat emboss the sentiment from Altenew’s You Are stamp set onto a black cardstock. Trim it to a banner and add near the florals using foam adhesive.
10.To finish the card, embellish with few clear dew droplets.
