How to make party favour cones

YOU WILL NEED:

Patterned paper, Tissue paper fringe garland, Ribbon, 30cm, Scissors, Hot glue gun, Paper clips

Planning to make these? Be sure to send us a picture via our Facebook page or Twitter account - we’d love to see!

Draw and cut out a paper cone for each guest. Bend it to form the cone shape, and apply a paper clip at the top for easy manoeuvring. Using a hot glue gun, apply a line of glue along the inside seam where the two ends meet. Press the other end on top of the glue and allow it to dry completely.

Using a dab of glue on the inside of your cone, attach a hanging ribbon. Repeat on the opposite side to create a handle.

Glue the tissue paper fringe garland around the top edge of the paper cone. Pom-pom trim, ribbon or ric-rac would also make a stylish embellishment.

Attach the coordinating gift tag to the side of the handle and fill with goodies.
