Designer for the Day bonus card

Card making Papercrafter Techniques Card Making

When we treated PaperCrafter reader Heather Trigg to an exclusive sneak peek at issue 64’s festive kit, she came up with two gorgeous cards. The instructions for the first appear in issue 64, on sale now, but we are delighted to present Heather’s instructions for her bonus make here for you all to try.

METHOD: FROSTY CARD

Cut the tree from the shaped blank out and ink the edges. Dot the top of the branches with glue and liberally apply glitter

Cut out different size flowers using patterned papers (I used a Tim Holz 'Tattered Flower Garland' die). Ink the edges and fold and separate the leaves. Glue in place

Cut a lacy border strip to 1cm and width and ink the edges. Attach as shown to a slightly wider strip of card cut from the tree blank

Cut out a 'With Love' sentiment from your PaperCrafter kit and distress and ink the edges. Fix all the elements to a landscape blank as shown

Create a 'For you' sentiment using the letter stickers and fix to a panel at the bottom of the card
