Tropical Flower SVG Files

SVG cutting files

Four floral SVG files ready for cutting and layering – we can't wait!

Tropical Flower SVG Files

Use these exclusive SVG files with Corinne Bradd’s tropical paper flower project and expect excellent results. Inside your download pack you’ll find four flower shapes, and the idea is you cut them from cardstock in different sizes, layering them up and staggering the petals for a full look. We’ve chosen pink tones, but you can choose whichever cardstock you like – textured looks fab though, FYI!

What on earth is an SVG file?
If that’s what you’ve found yourself asking, you’ve come to the right place. Let’s start right at the very basics. SVG stands for Scalable Vector Graphic, which essentially means that it can be scaled to different sizes without losing its quality. SVG files can be used on digital cutting machines such as the Brother ScanNCut or Cricut models. They make your life a load easier as the file is simply downloaded onto your computer, then using your machine’s software you can load it onto your device and create stunning projects in an instant. It saves all the hassle of copying and tracing designs.

Most of the time, your files will be downloaded as a ZIP file, so you will need to extract them first before doing anything else. The next step is to download it onto the relevant software you use with your machine (select the SVG file, not the ZIP). Once the project is on your grid, you will need to separate the layers (there won’t always be layers, it just depends on the design), then arrange and cut as you usually would with your files.
