Lost for words? Find your way with these Christmas phrase printables!
‘Celebrate magic this Christmas’ and ‘Wishing you a Christmas full of love and laughter’ are just some of the messages you’ll find in this digi stamp download pack, courtesy of our friends at Mama Makes. Sometimes the sentiment is the hardest part of cardmaking, so we love keeping these to hand on our desktop for speedy sayings. Let Keren Baker’s cards inspire you to use these powerhouse printables this season…

Choose your hues
Keren’s colour palette offers a fresh take on tradition. Bold red and forest green keep things classic, while the pops of mint, white and pale blue propel these makes into modernity. It’s a fantastic example of when a focused selection of colour works, but don’t be afraid to add in some brights – the fairy lights simply had to be multicoloured!
Let the designs inspire
We all face ‘cardmaker’s block’ from time to time, so why not take inspiration from these sentiments? For Keren’s ‘Let it snow’ greeting, she used Avery Elle’s Falling Snow die on blue snowflake patterned paper, matting it onto white paper so it shows through the gaps – perfect! For the ‘I hope your Christmas is full of sparkle’ card, sequins were a natural choice.
Use your stash
What have you got in your multitude of crafty supplies that would work well? That’s the best bit when starting a new project – though it is normal to get utterly distracted of course. We love Keren’s use of simple striped paper for a peppermint effect, plus the aforementioned sequins feature on most cards for a touch of shimmer. The folded mint ribbon on her ‘Winter wishes’ greeting adds a tactile feel, which we’re all for too.
