Christmas Village Digi Stamp Cards

Create your scenes
The beauty of these neighbourhood-inspired digi stamps is that you can use them as they were intended thanks to their impactful look. For example, print out the ‘Season’s greetings’ digi with the house on the hill, colour it in, then matt onto coordinating patterned paper, and you’re done! Elsewhere, our cardmaker Kitty Frampton has coloured in various houses, cut them out and rearranged them to create alternative street scenes.

Add texture
Kitty has also used a variety of techniques, tools and embellishments to provide a little texture. Add ribbon flourishes, emboss background panels – she’s used a wood effect embossing folder on one of her cards – and don’t forget to use those all-important 3D foam pads to draw focus. Flat-backed gems in various sizes and styles are another great way to add intrigue.

Sprinkle some glitter
As well as incorporating die-cut snowflakes for a festive touch, you can also use glitter to apply wintry sparkle. An excuse to use glitter? It’s what any crafter wants to hear! Apply it to anywhere snowy – the trees, roofs, snowmen and along the street. It’s a fantastically easy way to bring life to your designs.
